In those days, we were still working out of 565 (Stanford Avenue). So when I rolled up for an interview, I wasn’t expecting the house and not an actual office…well, it was a nice house, so I went ahead and knocked, and Steve (Krause, Operations Support) greeted me with the biggest smile and took me inside. Everyone was hustling around the kitchen and living room area man; it looked like some scene from “The Social Network.” Those were the good old days.

So how has DoorDash changed from the early days?

Now DoorDash HQ is stationed in a legit office with a lot of new faces and people to meet. Throughout my time I’ve gotten to also do plenty of other projects for the team. I’ve helped Brian (Head of Partnerships) distribute iPads to our merchants and troubleshoot any problems with them. I’ve also had the chance to do numerous orientations, which is when we bring in our new drivers and welcome them into the company and teach them the ropes. Now I’ve applied for the support team and was lucky enough to get in. I get to help out drivers, merchants, and customers on a daily basis while getting the chance to work closely with the homies at the office.
